As with many things, it began in darkness...

The Heartless, a foul man-made creature, have begun to plague worlds all over. Little is known about the creatures, other than they are nearly impossible to kill. People locked their doors, hiding from shadows, worried their hearts would be snatched away.

Until one day some hapless Gummi Pilot happened upon a small creature the Heartless loathed. These pocket monsters, if you will, had the power to destroy the Heartless and prevent world destruction as we know it.

Fast forward several years, and while the Heartless still continue to survive even with these Pokemon to fight them, the people have gotten their lives back together. Not only that, but they began to form groups to combat the Heartless with Pokemon power.

Eventually, like all things do, it turned into a sport. Pokemon like to fight, usually, and they're ridiculously powerful to boot. So it didn't take long for the various worlds around to set up a League of sorts, a challenge for all those trainers out there to test their mettle. 

Whether you're simply interested in battling your way to the top, saving the world, helping destroy it, or quietly sipping tea from your house, your destiny has arrived!


Here at Key to Your Heart, we will not have any large scale, overarching plot lines. You drive your characters to your desires. However, we will occasionally have site-wide events that you can choose to participate in or completely ignore if it doesn't fit with what you want to do!

Gyms are available for you to battle at, completing each one until you eventually hit the Elite Four, just like in any Pokemon game. However, badges are not the only thing here to collect, and certainly not the only way to level up. 

In the future we'll be handing out missions for Light and Dark to complete and earn rewards. You can always catch more Pokemon for your collection as well, along with fighting your fellow players or the occasional NPC.
