just for clarification
capture and battle rules
1) Key to Your Heart is free form which strays away from direct calculations for battles. the only time a calc is used is in gym leader battles.
2) Pokemon are found in all the different worlds; but some types may only be found in certain worlds.

3) Starters will get one random egg move upon acceptance.
4) Players get a starter pack of five pokeballs, two potions, two full heals and a pokedex.
4a) Every character can start with a special "bonus" consisting of one of two items - a randomized egg that will hatch into a level 5 pokemon (either from the Sagedex or the normal dex) or a second starter pack.
5) Wild threads are free form and no word count [although we encourage you stay to the 100 standard wc].
- each thread is run by a volunteer mod for extra rewards
- three pokemon are to be encountered per wild. once a pokemon encounter is finished you must tag staff so they can spawn your next pokemon
- please have [w] in front of a wild thread
6) Battles with trainers are free form. every pokemon in a battle gets a level regardless if they have fainted or not. Pokemon gain one level for every pokemon they KO. this stacks up twice. the maximum amount of levels a pokemon can get from a basic battle is three.
7) Two moves per turn and a maximum of two dodges are allowed in battles. A dodge counts as a move. Please be logical with battling.
8) Pokemon are allowed to have 4 learned moves and two tm/hm moves. Items may be purchased from the pokemart to increase these move slot numbers.
9) You can not have two wild threads up at the same time.
10) While we have breeding, you can also buy an item from the pokemart to allow a pokemon to learn an egg move.
11) When it comes to evolving - we like simple systems. Evolving is done by leveling (obviously) but you may be wondering what about trade requirements and happiness requirements? Specialty evolving is now done through items and additional levels. Trade evos will require an additional 10 levels and a specialty item used in order to evolve, and happiness and friendship evos will be required to use an item obtained through the shops.
